Akway Nygow, ACM’s Board Member, has been active in the Anywaa youth movement for a long time. He has been active in the Anywaa Community in North America as a secretary. Akway was a former chapter chairman of the Gambella Liberation Movement, an organization that works on the ground in Gambella, Ethiopia.

He is currently a sophomore student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He lives in Stillwater, MN. In his free time, he is active in various organizations that help the community. He is a community organizer.
