Board Member
Omot Ochan, ACM’s Board Member, was the chairman of Anywaa Community Association in North America (ACANA). He led ACANA for four years. He remains active in the Anywaa affairs in the Twin Cities. He is experienced in social services. He worked as Relief and Community Development Projects Coordinator while he was in Ethiopia and worked for Hire as a coach, providing job coaching, career counseling and liaison to service providers. He is fluent in English, Dha Anywaa and speaks limited Arabic. He served as a board member for Sudanese and Ethiopian.
Omat holds BA and MS from Easter University and Grove City College respectively. Currently, lead and serve the immigrants community worship service in Anywak language at Christ Lutheran church in Eagan, MN.
